Shafter 42, Wasco 24
It was close through a half of less than beautiful basketball. The second quarter ended with Angelo Senoran banking a three pointer in from high on the glass. That gave the Generals a 13-11 lead. The offense came a little easier in the second half and Shafter pulled away. As always, the victory over Wasco left a pleasing aroma in the gym.

Wasco lost two great players last year now they aren't the same.
if wasco had 2 great players last year why were so bad?
Almost all Wasco minutes went to seniors last year. Christian Rodriguez and Isaac Alanis were the top scorers for three years on varsity. Whether or not they qualify as "great" players, they were clearly missed on Saturday.
