Shafter 63, Tehachapi 71
Shafter was again done in by a disastrous quarter. This time it was frame number two, which Tehachapi won 26-2, putting Tehachapi ahead 33-15 at the half. The Generals came storming back in the second half, cutting the Warrior lead to 6 with just over a minute to play, but couldn't get closer.

I don't do it, but some college instructors throw out the student's worst quiz score during the semester. What if we could do that in each game - each team gets to throw out one quarter. How many games would the Generals have won under this scheme?
I'll look into it. Be careful with your suggestions, Don. The Central Section authorities seem to be taking notes.
