I've been doing some work on The Virtual Elro. I've never liked the aesthetics of the long list of years on the sidebar and I finally got around to changing that. Now there is a link to all the win-loss records on one page. You can click to see each game score for a season. I think this is progress. I am working on doing the same for opponents.
While we are navel gazing, this is day 104 of The Bivouac. During that time we have racked up 3,968 page views in 23 states and Canada (as yet no other international interest). Like Barack Obama, we seem to have trouble connecting to the "white working class" of Appalachia. I don't know what could explain this, but we are still looking for our first visitor from Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. This is post 155.
Correction: The site had one visit from France last month. Oh and I have been adding some posts to the barbershop; there are now 160 posts up, but this was 155 at the time.

Though I live in California, it should be noted that I am reading (and even posting a comment) while on vacation in Tennessee.
Thanks Jimmie. I keep checking Google Analytics, but as yet they still have Tennessee as a state of Bivouac virginity.
This raises the possibility that Google Analytics is not very accurate and that the blog is actually being read much more widely than previously thought (or less widely, but lets not think about that). Or maybe google is on to you as a vacationer and counting you among the Californians.
